Shelley Blair completed her secondary school education and received her OAC (Ontario Academic Credit) Certificate and OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) in Glencoe, Ontario.
She continued her education in: Journalism and Short Story Writing (International Correspondence School (ICS)), Computer Programming (Canadian Institute of Business), and Architectural Technology (Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology) in London, Ontario.
In 1996, she began designing houses in conjunction with Ron Blair Construction as a Design/Build team. During her time working with her father, Ron Blair, they designed and built a variety of homes, offices and retail spaces. Working with various consulting engineers also contributed to her experience in an office environment until finally, in 2003, Whatever You Want Design was conceived and established.
After receiving her BCIN certification in House 2003 and Designer/Legal 2003, Whatever You Want Design began specializing in Custom Homes and Renovations as well as a variety of other residential projects. Her commercial projects are often collaborations with various other companies.
Other educational prospects included Managing Your Own Business - Stratford Correspondence Institute and Writing for Children at The Children’s Institute of Literature as well as various other business seminars.
Shelley values her family and works closely with her father, Ron Blair, with whom she often collaborates for business. A few of her many interests include athletics, writing, art and travel. |
